Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin's Vintage Champagne Rich 2002 has a pale gold colour with silver accents, fruity aromas, including winter cherry, mirabelle plums and grapefruit with a subtle hint of white flowers.

2002 was a year of a rare concentration and exceptional ripeness of grapes, 60% Pinot Noir, 7% Pinot Meunier and 33% Chardonnay made up of and includes 17 crus only, which are either Grand or Premier Crus with a dosage of 28 g/l of sugar.

Typical 'Veuve Clicquot' notes of dried fruit (almonds, hazelnuts) and pastries take the lead, crowned by vanilla. This wine is lively and firm, yet soft and velvety.
