Dom Perignon 2003 Vintage Champagne was unveiled simultaneously via hologram New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Paris and London on 7th December 2011.
Dom Perignon Chef de Cave, Richard Geoffroy says it was “a real challenge for the creation of Dom Pérignon. I needed to interpret it differently. It was a risk, a push-back of the boundaries, which may be rewarded now. My wish is for Dom Pérignon to remain in the history of Champagne as one of the greatest witnesses of the 2003 Vintage.”
Geoffroy confirmed 2003 was a difficult vintage, and that ‘it was a challenge to make it Dom Perignon – to find the Dom Perignon style, but there was never the slightest doubt that we would produce a vintage that year.' He added ‘There’s more Pinot Noir, maybe, within the perfect balance of DP'.
Dom Perignon's 2003 is 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay.
