Laurent Perrier Demi Sec Champagne provides the softness and the gentle reminder of past pleasures provided by a Demi-Sec, especially when served with a dessert.
The blend is made of wines from more than 55 crus or villages, and at least 10%, and sometimes over 20% of reserve wines are incorporated. After ageing for approximately three years, the wine is dosed with a liqueur made of cane sugar and wine from the same cuvée. Roughly 45 grams of sugar per litre are used.
Laurent Perrier's Demi-Sec is a champagne with a shining deep golden colour and with an intense range of aromas of dried fruit, almonds and hazelnuts, and grilled and toasted hints.
