A non vintage NV Champagne is the house's distinctive style consistent each year. A Vintage Champagne is a champagne produced in a particular year.

Each Champagne house maintains the same quality features throughout their range whilst others produce distinctive cuveé de prestige Champagnes as well as vintage and non vintage (NV) varieties.

The Champagne region in France is responsible for perfecting the bubble-making process often referred to as “methode champanoise” or the “traditional method”. Only three main grape varieties are used, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. A secondary fermentation occurs within the bottle, where the location, vineyards and historic style of the Champagne house will impart its own character into the champagne.
