Dom Perignon Champagne

Dom Perignon Champagne, many have said, was created by the 17th century Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon who invented Champagne. Although this is not entirely true, he originated the method by which champagne is made. His name, originally registered by Eugéne Mercier, was sold as a brand to Moët et Chandon in 1936.
