Terrazas de los Andes Selection Malbec 2008, (was Reserva) are wines are hand-harvested from select estate vineyards within the top districts of Mendoza: Tupungato, Vistalba, Perdriel and Cruz de Piedra. Developed with extensive focus on vineyard management, and only released during excellent vintages, these wines stand out for their aromatic intensity and complex style. Aromas experienced include freshly crushed violet flowers enveloping a deep core of jam preserves and ripened plums typical of Mendoza´s Vistalba region.
On the palate are racy notes of violet and graphite, are followed by mouthfuls of dry cherries and fresh berry fruit, whilst a luscious mid-palate, gives way to powdery tannins and a delicate herbal blend- infused finish that adds to complexity.
Note: The Bottle label has now changed to remove the word Reserva.
