Fashion designer Roberto Cavalli's very own selection is from their family vineyard in Italy. The Cavalli Selection is the result of a passion that links the Cavalli family to its wine, produced respecting tradition but with an eye to the future.
The Tenuta degli Dei wine estate is located in Tuscany, an area near Panzano in Chianti. In the heart of the country side, between Florence and Siena this area is known worldwide for the quality of it wine. Vine variety is hand selected and hand harvested as part of a process of excellence that leads to the Cavalli Collection.
Vineification entails long periods of fermentation followed by 18 months of maturation in barriques, the wine is subsequently left to fine in bottles for 12 months. During this time it acquires the features of a red wine with a free and assertive temperament.
This is how the Cavalli Collection is created, the result of a delicate balance between innovation and tradition.
