Dom Perignon Champagne many have said, was created by the 17th century Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon who invented Champagne. Although this is not entirely true, he originated the method by which champagne is made. Dom Perignon is now used for the prestige cuvée, where the highest of standards go into both the vineyard and winery ensuring that only the best grapes go into this amazing wine.
Very few Grande Marques can equal Dom Pérignon's finesse and strength of brand. Recent vintages releases include Dom Perignon 2003, Dom Perignon 2002 Magnum and the powerful Dom Perignon Œnotheque 1996. Dom Perignon's Chef du Cave is Richard Geoffroy.
